- You can show a preview of configurations by right clicking a configuration and selecting “Show Preview”.
- Do you use supplier parts in your designs? Use 3D Content Central to access millions of supplier certified CAD models.
- Use the SolidWorks Task Scheduler to automate tasks such as publishing eDrawings, printing documents, or updating custom properties.
- Use SolidWorks software’s Toolbox structural steel profiles to increase the number of structural members available for weldments.
- SolidWorks software’s help menu can be a powerful tool.
- Hold down the escape key while picking a standard view to temporarily skip view animation.
- Ctrl-Drag a component to quickly create another instance in an assembly.
- Ctrl-Drag a feature to quickly create a copy.
- Create a layout sketch and then use the Selected Contours tool to selectively choose the contours you would like to use.
- You can use the Administrative Director to create an administrative image for use in multi-seat installations.
- You can now borrow a license from the license server and work remotely.
