SolidWorks Certifications
Mark Martel, Area Technical Manager

|
SolidWorks certifications can be used as a benchmark to measure your knowledge and competency with SolidWorks software. Exams focus on the fundamental skills necessary to ensure your company’s overall success using SolidWorks. This month’s East Area SolidWorks Webinar will go through a sample exam that one would take to achieve the CSWA certification (Certified SolidWorks Associate). The CSWA is the first step in the journey to reach CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) and eventually the newly established CSWE (Certified SolidWorks Expert) certifications. By seeing the types of geometry and problems that need to be designed and solved as well as tips and tricks that can be used throughout the exam, you’ll be more than prepared to accept the challenge! In the months to follow, we’ll have additional webinars to prepare you for the CSWP and CSWE exams.

Go Beyond SolidWorks FloXpress with SolidWorks Flow Simulation
Joe Galliera, Simulation Technical Manager

|
SolidWorks FloXpress is a fluid dynamics application included with with every SolidWorks seat. At best, FloXpress is a flow visualization tool to see how water or air moves through your design models, and based on the calculated velocity field, you can find problem areas in your design and improve them before you manufacture any parts. In this presentation, we will focus on moving beyond FloXpress to more full-featured fluid analysis capabilities that are required by the full version, SolidWorks Flow Simulation. This analysis tool can handle flow design problems from a single component up to a full system-level model.

Easily Automate Your Product Documentation Using 3DVIA Composer
Mike Sabocheck, Territory Technical Manager

|
By reusing 3D design data and bills-of-material information, 3DVIA Composer revolutionizes the product documentation process for enterprises of all sizes. Before 3DVIA Composer, the deliverable production process was a costly, error-prone process which had to be repeated, usually from the start, for any product change. Now, by using 3DVIA Composer, enterprises can quickly and easily automate their deliverable production processes while reducing costs and improving quality. Come discover how 3DVIA Composer allows production of product documentation to be concurrent with the design of the product.
