Welcome back to Part 3 of our SOLIDWORKS Simulation Level Up!
SOLIDWORKS Simulation uses a process known as discretization, also known as meshing, where it breaks down your part’s volume into very small pieces which are known as elements. It has been established that properly defining and understanding your mesh can lead to higher accuracy in your simulation results. DesignPoint Application Engineer Julio Calles shares with us the available meshes that the SOLIDWORKS Simulation platform has to offer. In addition, we will cover some tools and techniques that can be applied while setting up our mesh.
